Hiatus II

So far, life in Beijing is a time crunch. IES runs a very tight ship when it comes to Orientation, so I have had scant chances to take photos. Internet connectivity is possible, but rather limited. Same goes for time to sit down and comb through photos I’ve taken.

What does this mean?

Adlerography will be going on a week-long hiatus!

I will try my darndest to make it back here with the usual M-F updates *next* week- that’ s September 3. Trust me, I want it back more badly than anyone else…photography has kept me sane these last few months.

Adventures

To those who chance a look at the blog page-

As I write this, I am in the midst of my final day in Taiwan. By tomorrow evening, I will be in a new setting- Beijing.

I can’t yet forsee how busy I will be with new adjustments, but I am going to try my hardest to keep the photos up-to-date with the changes. So, by Monday, I hope to have begun an exciting new series of images!

This means that for now, today’s photo (’Salt’) will be my final shot from Taiwan. (At least, the final one synchronous with my time here. I’ve got some decent shots left over that I might put up at some point. More to come on that project as it develops. ) No photo for Friday, as that’s my travel day.

Thanks to everyone for all of the encouragement so far, be it verbal or written, face-to-face or indirect. It’s meant a lot so far, and will be a strong motivator to keep trying in a new setting.
